For Parishes
Bring Socials with the Saints events to your parish! This monthly event series provides a welcoming and encouraging environment where participants are introduced to a member of the Communion of Saints.
Through prayerful reflection and discussion, participants receive hope, spiritual tools, and examples of how the saints can accompany us in our daily journey of faith.
Example Schedule
15 minute prior (optional): Participants enjoy chatting, fellowship, light refreshments
First 5-10 minutes: Welcome & Introductions
Next 15 minutes: A pamphlet is provided; about the saint’s life, with quotes and suggested reading. Participants read together about the saint "Round Robin style," or pre-selected reader(s).
Next 15-20 minutes: A presenter leads spiritual discussion about how the saint can inspire & accompany us in our daily pilgrim journey.
Final 5-10 minutes:
- Saint quotation cards are distributed to take home.
- Attendees are invited to make a donation to Pilgrim Center of Hope before departing
- Other announcements & closing prayer -- or invitation to the nave/chapel for Chaplet of Divine Mercy
