Fr. Stephen Dufrene, CFR
Fr. Stephen grew up in a small town in South Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master's in Business Administration.
After working in the oil field and the construction industry, he experienced God in a way that he never expected. Serving in a homeless shelter after Hurricane Katrina, he met the Community of Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. After a couple of years he took the plunge and joined the order.
A friar for sixteen years and a priest for seven, Fr. Stephen currently serves as the servant (superior) of Most Blessed Sacrament Friary in Newark, New Jersey, the community's novitiate house.
Father Stephen will present spiritual direction at the conference by speaking on, Wrestling with God’s Will: Moving Forward with Faith, Courage, and Clarity.
He will also lead us in Adoration of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament to conclude our time at the conference.
