Glimpse the Holy Land
Walking around Pilgrim Center of Hope's nearly 7 acres, you'll be able to glimpse the Holy Land sanctified by the life of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
- Photographs: Pass through our first hall displaying photographs of dozens of places in the Holy Land, especially of Jerusalem. Some of our pilgrimage groups who have journeyed to the Holy Land have groups photos here; can you identify the Bishop of Jerusalem?
- Ancient Stones: View rocks from the sites of Jesus' birth, life, and death throughout the Center - especially in our reliquary. These were gifts from the Franciscan Friars, official Custodians of the holy sites.
- Garden: Sit in our 'Galilee Boat' inspired by those of the Holy Land - surrounded by our Stations of the Cross pilgrim pathway - and enjoy the Prayer Garden which includes some plants found in the Holy Land.
Presentations about the Holy Land, "The Fifth Gospel," are available for groups of 10 or more at Pilgrim Center of Hope (or at your facility)! Let one of our Missionaries of Hope guide you through a 'virtual' pilgrimage and let the Scriptures come alive! Opportunities to touch a stone or water from the Holy Land, to smell myrrh or aromatic nard like that used to anoint Jesus, may also be available. Contact us to plan yours!
