Matching Gift
Corporate giving in the U.S. has increased over the years, recognizing employee favorites. It’s a nice perk for the employee, and is done through a “matching gift” program. Companies match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.

Unaware
Unfortunately, only 7% of employees working for companies that match, even know about the programs. That left between $4 to 7 billion in potential donations unmatched last year. Wow! What a difference that can make.
Several of our donors at Pilgrim Center of Hope are doubling their donor dollar by enrolling in the programs.
Known companies in the San Antonio area offering this benefit to employees include USAA, Boeing, Allstate, Chevron, Nationwide Mutual Insurance, Andeavor, Microsoft, NuStar Energy, Broadway National Bank, Cullen/Frost Bankers, H.E.B, Harland Clarke, iHeartMedia, Kinetic Concepts, Valero and Zachry Group.
