Mariam Baouardy مريم بواردي, whose Carmelite religious name was Mary of Jesus Crucified, was a Palestinian Discalced Carmelite nun of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church who lived 1846-1878 in the Holy Land, France, and India. She was known for her service to the poor, and became a Christian mystic who received the stigmata.
