Christine Wohar is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Law and holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She was introduced to Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati by her parish priest (Fr. John Sims Baker) in 1996. Ten years later, she met one of Frassati’s nieces in Rome and made a life-changing decision. Working closely with the Frassati family, she founded FrassatiUSA -- a non-profit organization that works to promote the spirituality of Pier Giorgio and to further his cause for canonization.
She hosted a three-part EWTN series Sanctity Within Reach: Pier Giorgio Frassati featuring an in–depth discussion with Blessed Frassati’s niece and has also appeared on EWTN's Life on the Rock, EWTN Live, Bookmark, At Home with Jim and Joy, and Women of Grace, as well as being interviewed for many other television and radio programs, podcasts and print publications.
She is the author of Finding Frassati and Following His Path to Holiness, co-editor of the book Pier Giorgio Frassati: Letters to His Friends and Family, and producer of the videos Pier Giorgio Frassati: Get to Know Him and GIORGIO: A Modern-Day Miracle Story. She is considered a world expert on Blessed Frassati and has given presentations to audiences of all sizes in the United States, Canada, Italy, England and Austria.
