Encounter Mary is a journey and experience that begins with this exhibit, and carries into your daily life.

You are invited to contemplate the life and impact of the mother of Jesus through art, movement, and reflection.

About the Event

Sample Schedule (7:00pm – 8:30pm)
  • 7:00 Introduction & Opening Prayer (possible one song)
  • 7:10 Presentation on Mary, with PowerPoint when possible
  • 7:40 Rosary with meditations, singing “Ave Maria” between each decade.
  • 8:00 Special Greeting by Parish Host Group Representative highlights group mission and encourages parishioners to get involved
  • 8:05-8:30 Continue to Exhibition Move to panel walk-through and receive take-home materials before departure
Pilgrim Center of Hope will provide …
  • Sample bulletin announcement for parish bulletin
  • Flyer design for parish to print & distribute
  • Presenters for the topic and to lead the Rosary
  • Exhibition panels & stands, double-sided, tabletop stands. (Ideal setting: Tables set in the middle of a hall at 14 ft. length, so visitors can walk around to view both sides of the panels.)

Before Event:

  • Work with Pilgrim Center of Hope staff in planning and promotion
  • Promote; distribute bulletin announcement and flyers, etc.

At Event:

  • Greeters, to welcome attendees
  • Musician(s), if desired by parish for opening and closing song, and to lead all in ‘Ave Maria’ between decades of the Rosary
  • (1-2) additional tables for Pilgrim Center of Hope to distribute complimentary rosaries and materials
  • Grant permission for Pilgrim Center of Hope to:
    • Sell Rosary book and Rosary bracelet
    • Allow “love donations” – a basket for donations to Pilgrim Center of Hope
Who Should You Invite?

We encourage you to invite all staff, families, parish groups, OCIA inquirers & Confirmation candidates, youth groups, etc.; this conference is presented to build unity within the family and the community.

The Church’s mission is to evangelize the world. Families and parishes that pray together become the foundation for bringing the Gospel message and Good News of Jesus Christ to the world!
