Now seeking to hire a Part-Time Development Coordinator:
Position Summary
The Part Time Development Coordinator supports Pilgrim Center of Hope’s (PCH) fundraising and donor-relations activities. This role assists with donor communications, gift processing, event support, and maintaining the constituent database to fund PCH activities and grow income streams. The position is reports to Pilgrim Center of Hope Director(s). Work schedule is typically 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain donor database (update contact records, run queries, generate basic reports) with the assistance of staff members.
• Provide content input, proofread, and schedule donor communications (emails, newsletters, mailings).
• Provide content for social media for events and thanking business donors.
• Support planning and execution of fundraising events and donor stewardship activities.
• Organize and execute Silent Auction online and in-person during annual fundraisers.
• Assist with research on prospective donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Maintain donor files and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate volunteer support for development activities as needed.
• Solicit sponsorships from businesses, groups, individuals for the annual conferences.
• Contact constituents and/or top donors at least 2 times a year.
• Grant writing: 1 to 2 per year, according to needs.
• Contribute to Parish Outreach with calls for upcoming conferences.
• Provide input and direction for annual Impact Report.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of nonprofit development, fundraising, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience with donor databases (e.g., Salesforce, Square) or willingness to learn. Experience with Salesforce a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Board & External Engagement
• Partner with the board to enhance its role in donor engagement, leveraging networks and influence to support fundraising and community impact goals.
• Represent the Ministry externally with donors, community leaders and partners, serving as a visible and credible ambassador for the Organization.
• Strengthen relationships with professional advisors and key stakeholders to expand the Ministry’s outreach.
Work Schedule and Location
• Part time, typically 20 hours per week; some flexibility required for events or deadlines
• Hybrid: Work from Pilgrim Center office and remote work as agreed with supervisor.
• Occasional evenings or weekends for events
