Visitors with Vision Impairments:
Who Is the Man of the Shroud? Exhibition contains some items that can be touched; ask our Shroud Ambassador for more information. We have a limited number of exhibition audio guide devices with headsets available; please contact us to request any of these items before arriving if possible.
Visitors who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing:
Many items on display include signage with written explanations; including Who Is the Man of the Shroud? Exhibition. We do not have an ASL interpreter on-location. Please email us ahead of time if you plan to visit without an interpreter so we can best welcome you.
Visitors with Service Animals:
Service animals covered by the ADA are welcome inside the Center. All other animals, including comfort animals, are prohibited.
- You may be asked: "Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?"
- You may be asked: "What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?"
- Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animals' work.
- Service animals not behaving properly will be asked to leave. Unacceptable behavior includes damage, urination or defecation, excessive barking and/or aggressive behavior.
Misrepresenting an animal as a service animal is punishable under Texas law.
