Guest Information
Fr. Jorge Haro was born in Mexico and came to the United States when he was 15 years old. At a young age, he experienced a powerful encounter with God. He met the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit in San Francisco, CA and after a long process of discernment, he joined the Order in 2011. Fr. Jorge studied Philosophy at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon and received a Master’s in Theology, at the Oblates School of Theology in San Antonio, TX. After his Ordination as a priest, he was assigned to St Luke’s Catholic Church as a Parochial Vicar. He has experience in youth ministry, biblical exegesis, spiritual direction, and secular radio.
Fr. Jorge enjoys listening to music, reading literature, especially novels, going to movie theaters to watch animated movies, and caring for animals at his father’s ranch.
