Our Lady of Montserrat – Barcelona, Spain

Journey with Deacon Tom & Mary Jane Fox as they visit a spectacular church and monastery built atop a mountaintop in Barcelona, Spain.

The place is Montserrat, and the church is home to a miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Montserrat.

The statue dates back to at least the twelfth century. St. Ignatius Loyola made an annual pilgrimage to Montserrat as have millions of pilgrims over the years.
