New monthly column in “Today’s Catholic” newspaper

You can now look forward the Pilgrim Center of Hope’s monthly column – “Living Catholicism” – for Today’s Catholic, newspaper of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. This new outreach of our ministry seeks to teach, inspire, and challenge men and women to appreciate the rich treasure of the Catholic faith, how it applies to daily life, and how we can live this faith out exactly where God has placed us.

The column is written by a variety of authors including Pilgrim Center of Hope staff and selected guest columnists who focus on an aspect of the Catholic faith, explain its richness, and how we can live this treasure out in our everyday life. Included it every column will be a quote or teaching by a Church authority (saint, bishop, pope, etc.) and Scripture references. Writers contribute from their experience of the topic through the lens of Pilgrim Center of Hope’s evangelizing mission.

“Living Catholicism” is an organic development based on positive reception of our previous column, “Living the Gift of Womanhood”. The original column was an outreach of the Catholic Women’s Conference. Now, we are extending this column to include every member of the faithful.

“Living Catholicism” continues the third tenant of our ministry, Evangelization Outreach, providing resources and tools for Catholics to live their faith. Make sure to look for us once per month in Today’s Catholic!  In the weeks following publication, columns will appear in our website’s Outreach section.
