Journey On the Seas: Stella Maris (USCCB)
Did you know the Catholic Church has an outreach to all who journey by sea? The Stella Maris ministry is available to anyone traveling by sea who finds themselves near a port. Come along with Angela Sealana and her guest, Sr. Joanna Okereke, Sister of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus, who was appointed National Director of Stella Maris in February 2015.
During this episode, you will:
- Hear about the life of seafarers and about the Church’s service to them through the Stella Maris apostolate
- Learn about Stella Maris – a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and how she, under this title, can guide us in our daily journey
- Be inspired and encouraged to live in hope!
We are so grateful to this month’s sponsors, Chris and Patty Parma, who made this podcast episode possible.
