Faith In Daily Life

“I’m not a saint!”

Let’s understand what it means “to be a saint.” So often this term is thrown around in times of comparison, disagreements, and when talking about someone who is perceived as “perfect”. Reality check: not even saints were perfect! In fact, many saints had their own struggles like each and every one of us. The only thing they may have done differently is, intentionally and wholeheartedly,  trusted every inch of their life to God.

Finding Happiness vs. Finding Joy

Have you ever heard of the saying, “happiness is temporary, joy is forever”? It is a comment much easier said than done. Our society is obsessed with the idea of self-care, and rightfully so. We should take care of our person beyond the facials, manicures, lashes, hair appointments, and wine nights with our closest friends. Joy can only be found once we accept the reality that our true happiness is not found through external pleasures, but through internal self-care where we become one with the person God intended us to be.
