Group Leaders!

A group leader is a Missionary of Hope! Her mission is to invite as many women as possible to respond to our Lord’s gentle and loving request, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Group How-To

Submit your group by May 11, 2020 – or before seats sell out!

Groups may register online OR using paper forms, for $55 per woman, if they abide by the following:

How To Register Your Group
Groups are easy as 1-2-3…

  1. Download the CWC 2020 Group Registration Form.
  2. Once a woman has agreed to join your group, use the form to record her info.
  3. Give yourself some time to register the majority of your group online (at least 10 including yourself), and use your paper form as a reference. You may alternatively choose to drop off the registrations and payment to our office.

Yes, you can add-on women to the group up until the Group Deadline, by contacting our office.

  • If you will be registering a Group Member, please make sure she has completed all information, especially her email address so that she will receive her ticket(s.) If she has no email, use yours and her ticket will be emailed to you.
  • If she orders a t-shirt – Let her know she will be emailed 2 tickets: (1) for her registration and (1) for her t-shirt. She will need to bring both tickets to the conference on paper or on her smartphone/mobile device.

Group Leader Tips

Hand out the CWC Flyer – to friends, family, parish groups, at work, at school.

Mother’s Day & Birthdays – Think of men that may want to give the gift of the conference as a Mother’s Day or Birthday gift to the women in their lives. If the man wants this to be a surprise, tell him to put the woman’s contact information except HIS EMAIL so the tickets are sent to them. Surprise! After he gifts her, he should tell us her email address so that we can update that. (Pertinent conference information and updates are provided to attendees via email.)

Parish Bulletin, Facebook, or Email Announcement – Sample:

Catholic Women’s Conference is coming May 29-30! Women! You are invited to join my group and receive a discount! Contact [YOUR NAME] at [PHONE/EMAIL] for more information. Conference details at CWCSanAntonio.com

Pulpit Announcement – A personal invitation is the best way to encourage women to attend. Here is a script to consider:

“Hello, my name is __________. Attending the Catholic Women’s Conference has been such a blessing to me and my family. I have grown as a daughter of God and in my unique dignity by discovering what it means to have a vocation to womanhood. I encourage all women to come to this year’s event, what we call a Spa for the Soul, on May 29th & 30th. I am a Group Leader and as part of my group, you will receive a discount off the regular price. The conference experience includes speakers, music, food & fellowship with other Sisters in Christ, shopping, prayer . . . and special time with our Lord Jesus. He is inviting you: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” I invite you to come as part of my group. See me in the ___________ to learn more. God Bless You!

Have a Table after Masses – Have a stack of CWC Flyers ready for women exiting Mass. Let them know about the Catholic Women’s Conference and your group. If you’re comfortable, staple a little note to each flyer with your contact info in case they aren’t ready to sign-up right away.

Fun Ideas

Personalize bottled waters, tissues, candy bars, etc., that you may wish to provide for your group!  Download & print onto Avery labels.

Note: Our logo is copyrighted; do not use it for other items/applications without written permission.

Meet & Greet – Some Group Leaders have chosen to gather their group together prior to the conference for a ‘meet & greet’ at her home or at the parish. This is a fun way to get to know other ladies, and to pray together before the event. You can also work out carpooling much easier!

Do you plan to reserve seats together? Only use signs placed on the seats – no taping of signs to the back of chairs, no wrapping sections with rope, caution tape, etc. Bring some signs with you. This is to maintain a safe & welcoming environment for everyone.  Thank you for your cooperation!

  • Friday: All seats will be released at end of Friday. (No overnight reserving of seats.) Please inform your group not to leave sweaters, attendee bags, etc. to secure their seat as these will be removed and placed in Lost and Found.  As the Group Leader, please remove all your reserved signs at end of event on Friday.
  • Saturday: Upon our doors opening on Saturday, you are free to again place reserved signs. Note you may have to reserve in a different section than Friday. Any reserved seats not claimed by Mass (8:15am) must be released.
  • If you see a woman alone and you have an available chair among your reserved seating, please invite her to join you!  This is a great way to live out our feminine genius of generosity and receptivity in welcoming another… and she will appreciate being invited!
