How much do you know about the Mother of Christ, or about the Rosary prayer? On Friday, August 5, approximately 100 persons participated in an Evening with Mary at San Jose Mission Church, presented by the Pilgrim Center of Hope. Deacon Ed Domowski offered insights about the Virgin Mary and the power of the Rosary. The night included a special praying of the Rosary together, along with time for questions. With the Mission Church as a designated Year of Mercy pilgrimage site (Doors of Mercy), attendees also were able to participate in this special opportunity to receive graces. A spiritual gift was offered to attendees: the 15 Promises of Mary to those who devoutly pray the Rosary.
We heard positive comments from attendees, many of whom were residents of the area and appreciated having this special faith event in close proximity to their homes. Some attendees traveled to the event especially as a pilgrimage to the Doors of Mercy. Whether nearby or from further away, participants learned about Mary and the Rosary. Praise God!

Evenings with Mary is an outreach ministry of the Pilgrim Center of Hope, traveling to various parishes in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Each event provides an opportunity to discover how the Rosary can lead individuals, couples and families to a deeper relationship with Christ, and facilitate healing and peace.
Allow us to introduce you to Mary, so that you may invite her into your home.
